Description
This course is an FAA approved part 141 course available to private or commercially rated pilots.
In some cases, previous knowledge and experience can be credited toward the course curriculum requirements per 14 CFR 141.77 (c).
Training under 14 CFR part 61 can be provided. Custom training programs are available based on individual’s previous knowledge and flight experience.
Requirements
Hold at least a Private Pilot Certificate
Must read, speak, write, and understand English
Pass FAA Knowledge Exam
BasicMed or FAA 3rd Class Medical
Course Details
43.1* hours minimum flight training
30* hours minimum of ground training
19.4* hours pre and post evaluations
Pass oral/practical test conducted by an FAA designated examiner
*- Hour requirements are less for an add-on rating
Privileges
File and fly in instrument conditions
Required to pursue an Instrument Flight Instructor Certificate
